This morning when I looked out into the back yard, I was so surprised to see this Mommy and her baby! We have seen tracks so we knew that we had deer in our yard at night,but have never seen one in the daylight. I followed them across the yard and that was when I got close enough to get these pictures.
This little guy couldn't have been more than a day or so old.
He still wasn't real steady on his feet.

Stood there for just a little bit and then...
...off they went.
What a treat, even though I KNOW our farmer neighbor wouldn't be so happy to see them.

Aw, that's so cute! Good catch with the camera!
Great picture. I hope they don't get hit by a car or truck though since you are so close to the busy road.
