Michael is a senior and is EXCITED that he is finished with all his work! Sunday was such a nice day we decided to shoot some Senior Pics. We plan to do some more later on but here are a few of my favorites for this time.
Do you ever get frustrated because there is NO way to say how you feel OR condense two INCREDIBLE days into a few pics and a few thoughts.... THAT is right where I am today. Five years ago our wonderful assistant pastor ( NOW our soon to be pastor) got a vision for our young people. The older preachers, missionaries and workers were getting older and our young people just didn't seem to have the desire to take up the torch and carry on... Four yrs ago Bro. Joe and MABC held the first OUR TIME youth conference. All the speakers and musicians were in their 20's. It was a great success.... This last Thurs. and Friday was the fourth Our Time. Each yr it has grown! Numbers are getting bigger, but more than that... the preaching just keeps getting better... the vision is bigger... what God is doing is getting BIGGER ! Over 20 accepted Christ as Saviour... Many were called to preach and others got their hearts right with God. A side note is that there has even been an Our Time in Africa this yr too. Bro, Joe and three teen boys from our church went to help Missionary Jerry Wyatt III hold his first Our Time. They had more that 270 and over 100 of those teens were in the church service the following Sunday. As you can see, I am just "eaten up" over this amazing conference and what God is doing through it. I could NOT begin to choose pictures to post SO, I took pictures of the crowd and the preachers and will let you go to Http://photozmom.smugmug.com to see the rest of what went on.
This week our church young people hosted the National Our Time Youth Conference. What a time we had! I will share more about that later. Thursday night we always have a fireworks show. It has never rained while we have had the fireworks until THIS yr... We still had it. Though with the cold and rain it wasn't QUITE as enjoyable as usual it created some VERY cool pictures. HAD to share them, with you !
Sunday night we had several special visitors at church. Preacher's 5 grandchildren were all here. At the end of the service all of them were brought up front. I labeled the first pic because the mom's aren't all holding their own children and didn't want to get you confused!
They wanted to get "Daddy Brown" in the picture too.
After church on Sunday evening is NOT always the best time for a photo op... BUT we made some memories anyway!
Landon and Aaron REALLY wanted to stand up! Tatum was VERY tired after an 11 hour drive to get there!
You KNOW this week in going to be FIVE x more fun than usual ! :O)
I am going back in time here, but wanted to share this little family with you. A couple of weeks ago Diana asked if I would be willing to take a few picture of their little family. During a break at the Spanish family conference we did a little shoot with Mom and Dad first... then when little Samuel woke up we added him too. These are SUCH a sweet, faithful family in our Spanish church.
SO..... It has been a VERY long time since I have blogged and I am so sorry... Not sure WHAT happened BUT I am starting up again ! :O) AND look at this little DARLING that is going to be my first post ... This little gal is 1 month old already. Mommy Shannon, and her two brothers, Ethan and Josiah came to visit me today. Sophie was wanting to sleep but we kept messing with her, SO she wasn't super happy about Nana shooting all these pics. We did get some cute ones though! Hope you enjoy them.
