We have a pair for Great Crested Flycatchers in our yard. They have built a nest in a corner of our back porch. Momma and Daddy are never very far away from the nest. This is momma and she is ALMOST always on the shepherd's hook about 10 ft from the porch. Daddy is ususally sitting on the handle of the propane tank about 100 ft away.
This was just a couple of weeks ago. Check out the lint from the dryer vent along the edge.
