Sunday Entertainment ! :O)

You will just have to pardon me for posting yet another couple of videos of the Sunday entertainment in Spanish nursery! You may be asking" Is this the only child in the nursery??" No... But right now he is the one at the most entertaining age...

Another question you may be asking " Is Nana (that's me) caring for the children OR taking pictures???" My answer is BOTH ! If it is a quiet time where all the toddlers are playing nicely and the babies are happy I tend to pull out the camera. IF they are not, the camera gets left in the bag. We always have atleast two workers too, so I really am NOT shirking my job:O)

Building Moving Post

A couple of weeks ago I was getting ready to post pictures of a building being moved in Washington. I got all the pictures on the post and was waiting for Myron to give me all the details so I saved it in my "Drafts"... Well today I posted it and couldn't find it.... I LEARNED that if you save it in your drafts.... It saves it in the date that you put it there... SO the new post is a few posts down from here. Sorry about that.... NOW I KNOW !! Yesterday morning Aaron called and was going to be in the neighborhood. He wanted to know if the coffee was on.
It wasn't BUT it sure didn't take very long to get it ready! What a nice time we had.
He also brought my grand dog, Zip with him. SO good to see them.

A NEW Way of Getting Around !!

We have some of the most precious babies in Spanish church and THIS one is ONE of them !! He has a very unique way of getting where he wants to go! Several of us have commented about his mommy not having to worry about him wearing out the knees in his pants !!! Thought you all would get a kick out of seeing him!

A * GUY* Post By Myron

A couple of weeks ago Myron was TOTALLY amazed by the moving of this 1,000 TON, 100'x 40' brick building in Washington. It was moved by a local moving co. and took 35 days of work (40,000 man hours) getting it ready and actually moving the building. As of last weekend it was still up on the wheels. There are 248 tires. As you can imagine it drew quite to crowd! There was a tv crew there from one of those ( house hauler shows) Here are a few pictures that Myron took.

Brock's Basketball Game

Our oldest grandson, Brock has started playing 3rd and 4th grade basketball. Today they played at home so this grandma got to go and watch. This is the first one I have ever attended and it was a lot of fun.. ALTHOUGH Grandma needs more practice to get better pictures !! Hopefully she will get to see more games and get better pictures !!!

He made two baskets and did really well rebounding. Here is one of his good shots !

Better LATE Than NEVER :O)

I have been wanting to post this for MANY weeks and it just seems that something was always coming up...

This was a beautiful Christmas present from a family that is very special to me !!
Kevin and Candace came home for Christmas from Tenn.( they just moved away in Oct.)
What a joy it was to have them in church with us again ! We miss them SOOO much !

Believe it or not you guys.... I haven't killed it yet :O) actually it is still blooming !!!
Thank you so much. I think of you every time I look at it!
