Christmas Parade

Friday night was Washington's Christmas parade. Our church always has a float introducing the Live Animal Christmas Play and many people walking along side in costumes. It is always the play "kick-off" for our people! Here are are shots of getting ready then more shots of the actual parade. (again...remember to click on the photos to enlarge them)

Thanksgiving Day

Our Thanksgiving tradition finds us at my parents each year with my mom's side of the family. It is fun to see my aunt and her family during this holiday! Our gathering was smaller this year because my brother and his family were at his inlaws this year. We sure missed them but did understand !! Always great time together. Lots of good food, games and visiting.
We are SO thankful for our family!!!

Twins?????

No.... Just BEST friends !!!
These two are just a couple weeks apart in age... Their coloring is very much the same. They are the same size.... and they even have"twin" type names.... Melanie and Megan !!! They really are best friends... If one cries... the other comforts. When they arrive at the nursery the one, runs to greet the other. They can also fight like sisters :O) Won't it be fun to see them in 10 years ?!?!!?
Nana loves you girls !!!

In The Hospital

My precious Father in Law is 95 yrs. old and is in the hospital for the FIRST time in his life as a patient! That is just So amazing to me!!! Thurs. morning he woke up VERY weak. After a trip to the dr. for lab work he went back home only to be called and told to get back to the hospital right away! He had some sort of an infection and needed to be treated with IV antibiotics. Praise the Lord it did the trick and when we went to see him Saturday evening he REALLY looked GREAT. I am SO thankful for the wonderful Godly father in law the Lord has blessed me with.
I told him that we HAD to document this momentous occassion :O)

Saturday night we got a real treat! All three of our grandsons together ! That doesn't happen often! We all met at the Wayland Fire department pancake supper. Amy and Brock joined us there for a visit. It was so nice seeing them again! The boys really hit it off and had such a good time together!

I'm Back !!

I am sure many of you are wondering WHERE I have been the last month.... Well, I have been helping some very dear friends!
We have been good friends with Richard and Wilma for almost 20 yrs. A little over a year ago Richard was diagnosed with cancer. God has given them a wonderful year though there were MANY rough spots! The last 6 weeks or so he has been in hospice and Wilma was able to keep him at home. About a month ago I started staying a couple of nights a week to keep her company and help where I could. Then after a couple of weeks I was needed every night, then within a week it was pretty much round the clock. A week ago today, The Lord took Richard HOME to be with Him. God was so good. There were a few VERY rough nights the last week and yet the last half hour was very peaceful. Myron allowed me to stay with her to do whatever she needed this last week as well. Yesterday was Richard's 75th birthday, and the night of the visitation was their 27th anniversary. Please pray for Wilma as she goes through this difficult time. God has been amazing HER at the grace he has given her through this time and she is SO thankful that she was able to keep him home, as he wanted! I love you, My Wilma friend !!!
