These poor men!! This is the 2nd weekend that they have come down from Cedar Rapids to hunt. Usually they do really well, (atleast Randy does!) But this year they have been having such windy,damp weather that they hardly even see any deer. They are coming back down for muzzle loader season. Hopefully we will see some smiling faces with some deer in a few weeks.

Kristi and Doug would rather have had them harvest the 8-point buck they met last night -- instead of having it "do in" our car. As injured as it was, it took the deputy 3 shots to put it down. )c: Tell your friends about this part of IA.
