Brock's Basketball Game

Today I got to watch my oldest grandson play jr. high basketball. I was so proud to see him play so well. He is quite the "shooter"! He made over 20 points for his team and did great getting the ball away from the other team. It is going to be fun as all the boys get to the age where they will be playing. This grandma is going to be busy in a few yrs!! Ryan starts next year and then before long Reed will be coming along too. Here is just one of Brock's lay-ups, from today.

Valentine Banquet

Valentine's Day evening I had a DATE ! We went to our church Valentine banquet held at the lodge at Lake Darling State Park.

The Church With A HEART

Last Sunday was our "Valentine Sunday" at church. Many hours were put in to make this

GINORMOUS Heart for our bus kids ( and our own church kiddos too!)

There were 360 full sized candy bars on the heart....

Such doesn't look like that many, right?!?! That shows just how BIG the heart really was !

Sunday morning there was a LOT of help pinning the candy bars on...

It's always a joy to see all the children from all the ministries

file through..... They just keep coming and coming

It brings tears to my eyes to see all the children we are reaching.

My Three Grandsons

Today I got a very special treat! All three of my grandsons in one place !! We don't get to see much of Brock ( 12 yrs) so it's always fun when Ryan (11) and Reed (8) get to see their cousin.

We didn't spend a lot of time with him and his mother but we had such a good time.

A Week Going Down Memory Lane!

I spent last week with my folks. What a time we had! For Christmas my brother & his wife and Myron & I gave my folks a slide converter. My folks took slides most of our growing up years until they got their digital camera. You cannot imagine HOW MANY slides they have!!! I hooked it up to my computer because there are some issues with the folk's. We literally worked Wed- Saturday morning. We took off time for coffee breaks, meal times and time to sleep. Otherwise we were right where we are in these pictures. We did take Thurs and Friday evenings off for a movie each night. We are really going to enjoy seeing all these slides transformed into a digital photo to be enjoyed much easier.

It's Been a VERY LONG Time!

It is REALLY sad but I hunted and hunted to find ONE picture to blog!

THIS is IT! This is the way I have been the last few months! I have been having some health issues ( NOTHING critical ) Lots of allergies, sinus and my CF .... I just have not felt like doing any picture taking. God blessed and helped me get through the Christmas Play taking pictures but after that things fell apart. NOT complaining. God has blessed me in so many ways, just not able to do much right now. I didn't take ONE picture at all during Christmas this year! I did take some as I was decorating but that is it!

We also have a new kitten. Myron rescued her in Washington in late Nov. This picture was while she was still little enough to lay and sleep! NOT anymore !!!

I just wanted to let you know that I AM still alive!

I did happen to look through my blog list and there are MANY that have been a little lax in blogging. I think everyone is just VERY busy!

Hope each one of you is doing well and have started 2012 thanking the Lord for all His blessings.....There are SOOOOO many!

LOVE My View !

I am having some knee issues, so the last few days I have basically sitting with my feet up. I have been looking out my window and THIS is what I see. It is FAR more brilliant than in the picture, but just HAD to share it. It is warm enough for the windows to be open with the breeze making the leaves fall! What a wonderful view! God is SOOO good!
