Butterfly After The Rain

Today I went for another walk around the yard in between rains, I didn't have my new, long lens on my camera or it would have been a better picture, BUT after I got it on the computer and cropped it, I saw that I had caught a couple of rain drops still on the flower and stems. So that made it special. What special blessings God gives us in tiny little packages! All we have to do is "crop" things down so we can "Focus" on the details!
"Thank you, Lord for your blessings on me!"

Out For A Walk

Went for a little walk tonight. What a beautiful summer The Lord has given us this year in Iowa! As I walked around the gravel road the ditches were filled with wild flowers.

As I walked across our yard I looked out back and those bales of hay were just calling me to take their pictures.

this was actually taken a few days ago out the back door. The clouds were so pretty.

Dianne's Photo Shoot

Tuesday afternoon I had a photo shoot with my pastor's wife. What a treat when she asked me to take some pictures that she needed.
She is such a lovely lady.

They're Engaged !!!

Jim and Patricia had BIG news on Wed. night!
And Patricia is VERY left-handed NOW!
A wedding is planned for Sept.5th. at the
Little Brown Church.

Two Surprise Partys in One Day!

The 11th was Dianne's Birthday. Yesterday, Beth had arranged to have lunch with Dianne at Pizza Hut. What Dianne didn't know was that all the deacon's wives and staff wives were there too!
Beth was waiting patiently for Dianne in the main dining room.

The rest of us were in the back room, HIDING :O)

Then last night during church a "VERY IMPORTANT" meeting was announced for after church.
EVERYONE was to attend.
We GOT HER.... AGAIN! TWICE in the SAME day !!!
