LOVE My View !

I am having some knee issues, so the last few days I have basically sitting with my feet up. I have been looking out my window and THIS is what I see. It is FAR more brilliant than in the picture, but just HAD to share it. It is warm enough for the windows to be open with the breeze making the leaves fall! What a wonderful view! God is SOOO good!

You NEVER want to miss one of our services !

I LOVE our church! You NEVER know what is going to happen in a service! ( Well OTHER than GREAT music AND GREAT preaching !!!)

Last Sunday night we had a special from a "SPECIAL" group of ladies !!!

The week before ( as his father did many years ago) our preacher announced that

"THE LARGE LADIES group" was going to sing! (of course he MEANT in number of ladies NOT in the size of the ladies:O)

SO (as in the many years ago) the ladies decided to sing again,

This time AS large ladies ! The song they sang was " I just found out Jesus loves LARGE girls"

What a GREAT skit and the funniest part was that some of the husbands didn't know it was going to happen !!!!

Beautiful Autumn Evening in Iowa

Last night was absolutely Gorgeous !! I was sitting in my living rm looking out my new windows and THIS is what I saw! I had to go out and take some pictures as the sun was setting.
I KNOW that I have posted pictures of this scene before, but whenever I stop and really LOOK at this it never ceases to make me thankful !!!

Have I mentioned how MUCH I LOVE where we live!

Where There is a Will....

...There is a way! Myron needed to get the bales picked up so he enlisted the help of a strong 11 yr old and they got the job done!
Amos came down and helped Myron.

the last thing Amos said to Myron when he thanked him for helping was
"thanks for being the horse"
I think they made some memories, what do you think???

September Morning

This morning I got up about 7 and there was a haze hanging over the field. I grabbed my camera and headed out.This really doesn't show how beautiful it was but you can get an idea.
Myron actually mowed, raked and baled this hay this year and he TOTALLY enjoyed it!
"You can take the boy off the farm BUT you can't take the farm out of the boy!!!"

Todd Bennick

Sept. 10th was an exciting day at Marion Ave. ! Extreme Motorcyclist, Todd Bennick came to perform for us. First he spoke to our teen church then gave his testimony to the crowd at the fairgrounds.

After he finished jumping he signed autographs
