Falls Park with Family

Sunday afternoon after a wonderful lunch at Ruby Tuesdays, we went to downtown Greenville.The downtown area is SO neat but right in the middle of the downtown area was this INCREDIBLE park!! I have NEVER seen anything like it and could have stayed there ALL DAY!

The falls have been there for many years but within the last few years they have surrounded them with the most beautiful place to just hang out. It was like something I have seen in movies where people that live in the downtown of a city just go to enjoy the outdoors. People were EVERYWHERE and yet it didn't seem crowded at all. People were walking their dogs( I have never seen so many dogs in one place in my life!) having picnics, wading in the water, strolling, playing frizbee.... It was just SO neat! Thank you Ken and Katie for being GREAT tour guides! I LOVED it !!!!

Words cannot express the beauty we have been enjoying on this trip.. Pictures are SO inadequate! Again, will be posting more later, but I know SOME of you ( MOM) are anxiously waiting!!

Hanna Hospitality... Day TWO

Thursday morning we got up and headed up the mountain. We traveled about 45 minutes to Cades Cove. What a beautiful drive!
We stopped a couple of placed to take pictures and just enjoy climbing around on the rocks, and playing in the water. These are just a very few pictures that I took.

Hanna Hospitality Day ONE...

On Tuesday morning my daughter Sarah and I headed to South Carolina for my neice's wedding via Tennessee.
I have some dear friends that just moved down there last fall so they graciously invited us to break our trip up a little and stay with them a few days. We arrived there about 7:30 on Tues. evening and relaxed the rest of the evening.
Wed.morning was also relaxed and then after lunch we headed to Pigeon Forge to see the brand new attraction.The Titanic. What a wonderful museum!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!

Although Sarah and Candace had never met... they hit it off IMMEDIATELY
and are definately planning to stay in contact !

Will be sharing more pictures from our visit as I have time.

On the Road Again Bars

Sarah and I are getting ready to go on a little road trip next week. Since I am eating the way I do I need to take most of my food with me. Here is one of the snacks that I tried and I think it's going to be a hit (at least with me!)

As I mentioned in one of the earlier posts, Steven's photoshoot was a family affair. His older sister, Tenille is my daughter in law. Ten and the boys came along with us to help.

Ten took my second camera and got some good shots. She has a love for pictures, too.

She also was more willing to get clear down on the ground than I was... this was the case when I shot this picture. She had gotten down on her stomach in a ditch to get a couple of shots... She was just so cute we had a quick little "shoot" with her

Ryan and Reed took turns riding with Uncle Stevie in his new (to him) car.

They were SOOO excited when it was THEIR turn !!
