SO MANY PICTURES....... SOOOO LITTLE TIME !!!!!

What a WHIRLWIND weekend I have had and though the weekend is over my WHIRLWIND Isn't !!!
This is one of my favorite times of year and this year is no exception! This week is our Church's 36th anniversary and we always have a carnival on Anniversary Sunday. This year we did the bus kids' carnival on Saturday. WELL... ALSO on Saturday, Nate ran in a 5 K race. AND Jim and Patricia's wedding reception was in the afternoon. SO By 8 a.m. I was in Washington for the race that started at 9 ... As soon as it was over I flew over to the fairgrounds and took pictures of the carnival for the church website. Then at 12:30 headed to Burlington for the reception. Yesterday was a very special Sunday. It was Friend and Family day. After the service there was a dinner for the Jolly 60's at the church and the rest of the church went out to the carnival.... This was the first year our church families have been able to go to the carnival together !! It was SO much fun!!! Our families really enjoyed "doing" the carnival TOGETHER!!! Then after the Spanish service let out they came over and the fun continued !!! The carnival was over at 4 and was cleaned up in record time... The evening service started at 6:30 and was a very special end to the day BUT not the week. Tonight and all day tomorrow and tomorrow night we will be having wonderful services with Dr. Clarence Sexton and Dr.Bobby Roberson. SO as you can see...taking pictures of all the events and cooking for the BIG potluck tomorrow has left me little time to blog..... Hopefully I will be able to catch you up a little bit on the activites, Wed. or Thurs.... Have a wonderful week everyone, and forgive any typos as I ususally proof read everything, BUT today... I am OUT THE DOOR :O)

IT'S RUNNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of you KNOW that our good car has been broke down for over a year and a half..... Many times it has been a real struggle since our other car has almost 320,000 miles on it and is not real trustworthy even though it hasn't given us ANY trouble, at that mileage it is inevidible!! It has been a LONG time coming , BUT... today about 12 :30 Myron called me and said to grab the camera and meet him out front.... I squealed a little and ran outside just in time to see...

THIS beautiful sight !!!!!!!

They chose the Little Brown Church because it was so neat,and I took the shot so we could SEE the church... It WORKED :O)

Again.... Not sure WHY but loved this one...
If I named this one I think it would be "Content" I love how she has her hand through his arm AND on his hand... LOVE IT !!!

Mr and Mrs Jim Hiatt

Here is just a sneak peak of Jim and Patricia's wedding. Will be working on them most of the day today and maybe be able to get them on Smugmug today or tomorrow.
It was such a sweet wedding and the church was just the perfect setting for their special day.

This is their "date chariot" They always dated in the truck and wanted to take in on their honyemoon. Several people heard about Patrica traveling in a TRUCK and found it hard to believe because she is such a LADY.... BUT NOW she is a farmers wife AND a LADY..... SO many changes in store for Patricia.... She is LOVING it !!!

Old Thresher's

Yesterday I went to Old Thresher's in Mt Pleasant. Visited with my friends Carol and Jerry Ficke from Nebraska then went to hear the Wissmann family. They are friends of the Fickes and have been singing at Threshers for years. The weather was great and it was a lot of fun.

Dad introduced Mom then she introduced the oldest... each introduced the next youngest and told a little about them. It was really fun.
